White Part
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 egg white
1/2 cup milk
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
Dark Part
Use same amount of all articles (from above) and add:
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
pinch of salt
