Norwegian Mocha Cake

Ingredients

2/3 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs separated
3 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. strong coffee

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks and cream. Add dry ingredients and coffee alternately to creamed mixture. Beat egg whites until stiff add to mixture. Pour into well greased cake pans. Bake in a 350 degree oven until done (about 25 minutes).
